Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety is usually protecting something. We find out what, and then find a lighter way to protect it.
Panic, health worry, social anxiety, school refusal, the 3 a.m. spiral, the child who cannot get out of the car. I work with anxiety using CBT and DBT skills, mindfulness-based practice and somatic grounding, chosen to fit you, not applied from a manual.
With younger clients, much of the work happens alongside parents, because anxiety lives in the household rhythm as much as in the child.
